How We Grew AWGifts Europe Sign-Ups with Ads (December 2024 : January 2025 Comparison)

About the Client

AWGifts Europe is a company dedicated to helping retail businesses grow by becoming the leading supplier of giftware in the European market. It is known as the only wholesaler that imports handcrafted giftware directly from India, Indonesia, and China. AWGifts Europe also manufactures aromatherapy, home fragrance items, and bathroom gifts in its UK-based factory. 

Since most of its business processes are conducted online, AWGifts Europe requires digital marketing channels that can positively contribute to supporting its operations. One of these efforts is through social media advertising, with the primary goal of acquiring new potential customers who are willing to register on their website. At this stage, we assist AWGifts Europe in implementing an effective social media ads campaign strategy.

Campaign Objective

The campaign objective was to significantly increase new wholesale customer registrations through Meta Ads by targeting gift retailers, resellers, and boutique store owners across Europe. The campaign successfully achieved an increase in new B2B user registrations on the AWGifts Europe platform compared to the previous period.

The Strategy

To help AWGifts Europe reach more business customers, we launched a focused social media ad campaign aimed at independent gift shops, online resellers, home décor boutiques, and wellness retailers across key European markets including Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, and the UK. We targeted users with interests in wholesale, dropshipping, handmade crafts, and eco-friendly products, people actively seeking business opportunities in the giftware space. 

With Meta Ads as our main channel, the campaign was built around Lead Generation and Conversion objectives, using custom conversion tracking to measure actual sign-ups. The creative strategy highlighted strong USPs: free registration, no minimum order, access to thousands of unique products, competitive pricing, and fast EU-wide shipping. A mix of carousel and video ads was used to showcase product variety and quality, while lead ads with pre-filled forms helped reduce friction. All ads were tailored in English for clear messaging across borders.

To maximise performance, we built smart retargeting flows for visitors who didn’t register within 7 days, along with lookalike audiences based on our existing B2B customer base. This allowed us to reach new potential customers with similar behaviours and business needs. The traffic was directed to a multilingual landing page, fully optimised for speed, clarity, and trust, complete with reviews, clear CTAs, and proof of reliable EU-wide service. 

As the campaign progressed, we shifted more of the budget toward retargeting and bottom-funnel audiences, using automated rules to support high-performing ad sets. With this data-led and creative-driven strategy, the campaign aimed not only to drive leads but also to establish AWGifts Europe as a trusted wholesale supplier across Europe.

Result

The campaign achieved a healthy click-through rate of 2.78%, indicating that the ad creatives and messaging resonated well with the intended B2B audience. With 2,298 clicks resulting in 127 registrations, the click-to-registration conversion rate stands at approximately 5.53%, suggesting effective funnel targeting and an optimised landing experience. The cost per registration was approximately €3.21, reflecting strong cost-efficiency in acquiring wholesale leads. Overall, the results align with the objective, contributing to a 95% increase in registrations and highlighting the campaign’s success in January 2025.
